ATR’s new Polaris RZR rear sway bar offers an increase in performance and strength over the stock unit and also has the added feature of quick disconnect links. This allows you to have the best of both worlds by being able to quickly disconnect your sway bar for added suspension articulation for trail riding, and reconnect it for more stability for higher speed riding.

ATR Polaris Sway Bar is a bolt in replacement of the stock unit and takes about 30 minutes to install. ATR Sway Bar features 4 chomoly rod ends that allow for bind free movement and are teflon lined to ensure long life. Sway Bar links come in a zinc plated finish. Quality Bowtie style pins are used to be able to quickly disconnect and reconnect sway bar.

It was perhaps the most anticipated and long awaited performance UTV launch in the history of the UTV category. With rumors running rampant for months and in some cases years of a forthcoming performance UTV from Can-am, the Commander is finally reality and the UTV community is salivating and awaiting its arrival in dealerships this fall. Fortunately, if all goes to plan at Holz Racing Products, you won’t have to do the same when it comes to the latest suspension, chassis and performance parts for the Can-am Commander.

Holz Racing Products is now ready to tip their hand too, giving interested early Commander buyers a first look at the Holz Long Travel Suspension Kit for the Can-Am Commander. In addition to the long travel kit, Holz is also developing other Commander performance products such as Half Doors, Rock Sliders, Front and Rear Bumpers, a Skid Plate Kit and more. Working with Team Motoworks, a Can-Am equipped off-road racing effort based out of Vista, California; Mark Holz designed and developed the all-inclusive long travel kit earlier this spring. Since that time, the kit has been exposed to on-going testing by the Motoworks team.

“We designed the long travel kit to be a simple bolt-in solution,” said Mark Holz, owner of Holz Racing Products. “Just like our successful and respected Polaris RZR Long Travel +4 Kit, the Commander Kit will include all necessary hardware in one complete package.”

Like virtually all Holz Racing Products, the Holz Commander Long Travel Suspension kit will feature precision, made in the USA craftsmanship and will undergo rigorous testing both on the track and off to ensure quality is industry leading. To achieve such high standards, the Holz Commander Long Travel Suspension Kit will feature tig-welded, chromoly construction; will include necessary hardware such as tie-rod extensions, longer brake lines and axle shafts; and will be finished in a durable black powder coat.

While final details and pricing are being ironed out at this time, Holz and his crew of precision fabricators are pleased with the results thus far and are on-target to deliver the Commander Long Travel Kit to market in unison with the Can-am Commander arriving in dealerships this fall.

“We are working through the final details now,” said Holz. “The performance of the kit even in its early stages was very good, now we’re working on final calibrations.”

As those calibrations are completed, Holz Racing Products is also busy working on additional Commander products including skid-plates, rock sliders, half doors, bumpers and more. Holz is hoping to have many of those products available as the Commander arrives in dealerships this fall.

The UTVForums.net project RZR goes under the wrench again and this time it will come out a snarling, pavement hugging, dirt drifting monster!

This year marks a huge step forward in the UTV world as a Powersports Exhibition Class has been created for the prestigious Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Our very own Polaris RZR will get a shot at the hill this June and hopefully, the result will be a full blown UTV class for the 2011 race year.

The PPIHC RZR boasts a bored and stroked 900cc power plant being force fed by a tweaked TD04-15T turbo. Race day horsepower figures should be in the 200hp range and it should top speeds of 80 mph!

Click here to follow the build and stay tuned to UTVBlog.net for all of the exclusive photos and videos leading up to this wild ride.

Raleigh, N.C.- Seizmik announces the official launch of a new line of soft tops for the Yamaha Rhino, full and mid-size Polaris Rangers. The new tops improve on previous tops by simplifying construction, removing loose flaps and providing a tighter fit.

A noticeable feature about the tops is their simplicity in construction. This simplicity results in a lower priced top with fewer seams to rip and an improved fit courtesy of Seizmik’s new ‘Quikfit’ tightening system. The tightening system uses two tension straps that wrap around the roll cage and buckle inside the cab that allow users to adjust tightness. This simplifies the top and provides the best in-class fitting soft top of any in the industry with unmatched tautness. “We designed these tops to set a new standard of fit, function and quality for UTV soft tops.” said Ben Greene, Marketing & Product Coordinator. Unlike many products on the market today that only offer overhead protection; this system offers the top plus rear window panel integrated into one piece preventing dust from entering back into the cab from behind the occupants while driving. The tautness and fit is like that of a finely tailored suit and resists sagging extremely well. Also, when installed properly with a windshield, this system can be trailered. All this is made possible through the innovative new ‘Quickfit’ tightening system. Charles Kim, VP of Product Development & Marketing commented on the new tops “We premiered the tops at the Indianapolis Dealer Expo and got a great reaction especially about the seamless integration with our new line of Versa-Shield windshields.” The tops are fully compatible with Seizmik Light Bars, Windshields, and Hood Rack Systems.

These plates lift the front of the motor and transmission cases for better ground clearance. The stock motor mount location allows the motor and transmission cases to hang below the bottom of the frame rails.

The Holz Racing Products Gear Case Lift Plates will help to better protect the underside of your expensive gear case housings from impact by raising them out of harms way!

I recently had the chance to work on a buddies Polaris RZR 170 and bolt on some new fun products from Factory UTV! Even those these three parts are rather simple and a snap to install, they made a huge difference visually!

After my friends son saw my RZR with the half-doors, top and 4-point seat belts, his son just had to have his 170 look just like my grownup version of his little RZR. So as this lucky kid would have it, his dad got to ordering from Factory UTV and got in these sweet doors and top:

These four items were straight bolt-ons and even used some of the factory bolts to hold them into place. The restraint bar and Crow seat belts were also very easy to install. The bar went on with four bolts supplied by Factory UTV and mounted right up to stock wholes on the factory 170 cage. The bottom portion of the belts took a bit more work as it was hard to reach the factory seat belt bolts, but after removing some screws and plugs that held the body plastics on, it went rather quickly.

And that was pretty much it! Those few items and the little 170 went from looking like a kids toy, to looking like something made for grownups!

Pit Bull Tire has busted into the UTV and ATV tire scene and much like their tread, they are leaving their mark!

Pit Bull has come out with a tire that is not only awesome looking, but very very durable. And trust me, I have one of the most powerful UTV’s on the planet and I’ve been doing my best to try and spin these relatively soft, but gnarly looking lugs right off! This is where their ruggedness comes in as I have yet to do so and they show no signs of that happening anytime soon.

The specific Pit Bull Tire that I tested was the new 25.5” Growler X.O.R. on a 12” rim. These tires have a 6 ply rating, siping, multi-varied tread blocks and over-the-shoulder lugs that use Pit Bull’s Fang Technology. That’s some serious technology packed into one tire, so lets see what its got!

It’s been pretty snowy here as of late and what better of a time to test out what is supposedly the best snow tire on the market, less spikes of course. My testing ground is about a 25 mile long gravel road with a mix of crunchy powder, ice, hard pack, dirt, slush, and mud depending on where the sun decides to grace the ground with its warmth. So basically, UTV riding heaven!

My test UTV is a Polaris RZR with a +8 suspension kit, built motor and a turbo force feeding it cold thin air. Sounds like the perfect candidate for a narrow dirt road packed with snow and ice at every turn and climbing from about 7,000ft to about 9,000ft elevation with no guardrails…right? Absolutely!

I ride this road often and I have put probably a couple hundred miles on it with my stock Maxxis Bighorns. So, I’ve got a pretty good basis to go off of at this point. I bolt on my new wheels and tires and without hesitation I head out for 443!

I decide that even though the road is pretty much hard pack with a layer of ice I’m going to see what these Pit Bull Growlers have got and run it in 2WD! Risky I know, but I’ve got faith in my driving skills and my RZR’s setup. I start out a little slow, maybe hitting 30 mph through a few turns. Hmmm feels pretty good. The tires are real predictable and feel solid. So, time for a little more throttle…WOW! I’m driving on ice at about 40 mph and I can hold a drift all the way through the turn! Turn into it a little, ease off the throttle and it straightens right out! Toward the top of the mountain I was literally hooting and hollering out loud as the rush of the driving experience was exhilarating!

I can tell you that I was easily doing 10 mph faster in the turns and 15+ mph faster in the straights than I do with the stock Bighorns! I’ve had a blast with the Bighorn’s and I thought that a tire couldn’t be better, until now! The Growler’s are a SERIOUS dirt/hard pack/snow tire that gives you so much traction you feel like you’re a real rally car driver! They give you the confidence, feedback and traction to push it to the limits and then some!

But don’t just take my word for it, watch it all happen here!
