Recently, Volcon CEO John Kim took the upcoming Stag out for a spin while providing an update on the all-electric UTV.

Based in the Austin, Texas area, Volcon is an all-electric powersports company focused on producing electric vehicles for outdoor activities. The company's mission includes offering environmentally friendly alternatives for off-roading, emphasizing quiet operation to minimize disturbance in natural settings.

Volcon's product line includes electric motorcycles and utility terrain vehicles (UTVs). The first product launched by the company was the Grunt, which started shipping to customers in late 2021. The Grunt features a design with large tires and electric power, notable for its quiet operation. An updated version, the Grunt EVO, equipped with a belt drive, improved suspension, and seating, began shipping in October 2023.

In addition, the company introduced the Runt LT, a smaller version of the Grunt designed for younger or smaller riders, offering a suitable option for narrow trails or as a secondary vehicle at racing events, while maintaining off-road capabilities. The Brat, Volcon's entry into the eBike market for both on-road and off-road use, is currently being distributed to dealers in North America. The company is also delivering a line of electric dirt bikes designed for children aged 4 to 11.

In July 2022, Volcon announced the Stag, marking its entry into the UTV market. The Stag, originally expected to begin shipping to customers in October 2023, is designed to offer outdoor exploration capabilities similar to standard UTVs but operates without noise or emissions. This aligns with Volcon's goal of providing environmentally friendly outdoor vehicles.
