Walking up and down the crowded aisles of the 2009 SEMA show takes comfy shoes, a keen eye, and focus. I say focus, as it is quite difficult to keep your mind on the shiny sheet metal, and the newest and best when you have all those gorgeous SEMA girls walking around smiling and posing! However, one booth not only caught the eyes, but it also caught the ears. The SSV Works booth was able to catch my ears with clean bass and a clear highs, as I walked past a line of custom UTVs on display for the Battle of the Builders.
We stopped in to talk to Trevor, and he walked us through the custom Teryx that SSV Works had prepared for the Battle of the Builders competition. He turned up the volume and quieted all skepticism that said that you couldn’t get good sound out of a UTV’s sound system. We then stepped into the SSV Works booth and began looking at the new products being introduced! This is the fun part of this job!
The California based company has decided that you need to be able to bring your iPod along for that long trail ride, but how on earth are you going to keep the mud, dirt, and water out of the equation? Their new WP Series: Weather-Proof Audio System is the answer to that question! This system is the only overhead to offer an all weather protected enclosure for the iPod with an integrated 4ch 300watt amp and wireless remote to control it all! It gets better; installation is a breeze with only 2 wires to hook up! I don’t even think a monkey could mess that install up.
The iPod docks have a built in digital amp designed specifically for your side by side vehicle’s low power charging system. Keep your iPod safe from the elements while still enjoying the music from it, and charging it all at the same time. This system isn’t iPod specific either. It will play with any MP3 player out there via a simple 3.5mm MP3 input, and it also has an integrated FM tuner. It is built to last with durable fiberglass construction.
Thanks for the info Trevor, and keep the music playing! Keep it up SSV Works!
