UTVBlog.net exclusive review by Jared B. (aka glitch)
I had been in the market for some doors for my RZR-S for quite some time and wanted them for a couple of reasons. For one, I wanted a little more side protection without having ingress and egress issues and I didn’t want the dreaded vibration or rattles that are often associated with some RZR doors on the market. Cost was also a big factor in my purchase and wanted something that wouldn’t break the bank.
After researching most of the doors on the market, I stumbled upon the new Holz Racing Products Half Door Panels. After all my research these doors seemed to fit everything I was looking for! The installation seemed easy enough and the price was very reasonable. So I decided to take the plunge.
The doors arrived within a few days and I couldn’t believe how good they looked in person! The installation instructions looked really simple and there were only a few fasteners needed for the install. I figured the fewer the parts the better and the less chance I had to make a mistake. This made this product look even more attractive to me!
The instructions were really straightforward and easy to follow. The only tools that I needed were a 5/16” drill bit, a drill and a marker.
I held the door up to the RZR and marked the holes that I needed to drill.
After I drilled out the holes I held the door in place and installed the fasteners.
Once all the fasteners were installed all that was left was to install was the three zip-ties to the factory hip-bar.
I followed the exact same steps on the passenger side and I was done! The complete install took less than 30 minutes!
I couldn’t have been happier with the install and after a short test drive, I was 100% pleased with my purchase! The doors didn’t rattle or vibrate at all and the ease of access was the same as stock. The doors also worked with the factory side nets and they retained the stock mounting locations and functionality.
Considering the price, quality and ease of install, these door panels can’t be beat! I also love the look of the RZR with the doors installed! I like how the panels define the cab area and make it look more like a Baja Racer.
Before and After:
Thanks RZRForums.net for helping me find these doors and thanks Holz Racing for making a great product!
